Jon Morrish

Jon Morrish is the Chairman of the BoD and responsible for the Europe Group area. He studied biochemistry at the University of Leeds and holds an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management. He joined Hanson, a Heidelberg Materials subsidiary, in 1999. In February 2016, he was appointed member of the Managing Board. Jon Morrish was in charge of the North America Group area until January 2020. In February 2020, he assumed responsibility for the Western and Southern Europe Group area. Since January 2024, he has been responsible for the Europe Group area. In addition, he represents the interests of Heidelberg Materials in international associations such as Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) and CEMBUREAU.

Mihail Polendakov

Mr. Polendakov is appointed as Managing Director Bulgaria, Greece and Albania, Heidelberg Materials as of May, 2022. He previously held the position of Managing Director for Heidelberg Materials in Russia since 2011.

Wolfram Gaertner

Dr. Gaertner is appointed as Legal Director for Europe and Head of Technology and IP Law since 2022. He joined Heidelberg Materials in 2007 and has been Legal Director for the NEECA area since 2016 where he was in charge of the corporate transactions and major investments in such area. He has a commercial education and studied Law at the Universities of Berlin and Cologne. He holds a Ph.D. in law.

Dimitris Lianos

Mr. Lianos is appointed as Operations Manager for Heidelberg Materials Hellas as of December 2024. He joined the company in 2001 and in 2015  he was appointed as Plant Manager. He has long experience in the Cement, Aggregates & RMC businesses. Mr. Lianos holds a Bachelor degree in Geology from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Professional MBA from the Hellenic American University.

Nasia Kelveridou

Mrs. Kelveridou is Legal Manager and Compliance Officer for Greece & Albania and she is also holding the position of Communication Manager for Greece. She joined Heidelberg Materials in 2018. She has long experience in counselling and representing diverse global enterprises in corporate and M&A projects. She studied Law in Democritus University of Thrace and she holds a master in Administrative law.
